Milena Szpakowski graduated from McMaster University in 1981 withB.H.Sc. in physiotherapy. She worked approximately 13 years in a hospital setting, working with various orthopedic and neurological conditions.

In 1992, she decided to venture into the world of private practice and opened her own clinic in Dundas. Over the next 19 years, the clinic became successful and well known in the Dundas area. She sold the clinic in 2011, when her family life began placing increased demands on her time. However, she could not stay away from doing the work that she loves, and helping people achieve an improved quality of life.

Milena has regularly updated her physiotherapy skills through numerous post-graduate courses, developing skills in manual therapy, exercise prescription, physiotherapy modalities such as laser, ultra sound, electrotherapy, and acupuncture. She has worked with all age groups, dealing with a wide variety of physical conditions. She aims to improve her patients’ quality of life by improving their function and promoting active participation in their recovery and management of their own condition. Patient education is an important aspect of her intervention.
In her free time, Milena loves to travel and spend time with her family.
